Casting Call

Be the face and voice of our commercials!

We are casting talented performers for an upcoming series of professionally produced social media videos for a global brand.

This is a confidential project led by an experienced creative team and will feature selected talent, you, as both the on-screen face and voice of the campaign.

Eligibility & Availability Requirements

  • Must be based in Johannesburg

  • Must be available to travel to Bryanston for a screen test on Wednesday, 21 January

  • Must be available for one full shoot day at the end of January 2026

  • Must be available for shoots on a weekday

Submission Deadline:
Sunday, 18 January, 17:00

Audition Task

Please submit a recording of the below, Prepared Read. You will not be measured on your camera skills, so however you want to film it is your choice, we are looking at performance and voice only. You don’t even need to remember the lines, you can read them if you prefer.


Please begin your video by clearly stating the following:
“Hi, my name is ___.”
“I am ___ years old.”
“I currently live in ___ .”

Action:
Your phone pings, you were hoping to see a message from your lover, the excitement fades as you see
– Mom’s sent a message. The message opens, and you read out loud:  
Voice:  
“Hey, here’s the article I told you about: Making something of yourself in 2026! 
- Fifty-two pages….” 


Action: Your head sinks, then you look at the camera and speak directly to your audience: 
Voice:  
“Too much to read, and not enough time or energy to read it? Just turn it into a podcast - and listen to it instead.” 

“Download the files to your phone, and tap generate. Done!” 

“Why read it later... when you can listen to it now? “

Action: Give the audience a cheeky smirk/grin/wink (whichever you prefer).
